Kim's Grandma's Pumpkin Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 -3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Beat oil, sugar, pumpkin and eggs until blended.
  2. Add remaining dry ingredients gradually.
  3. Prepare 9x13 pan.
  4. Spread batter in pan and bake in 350° oven for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Cool.
  6. For frosting, cream all ingredients together until well blended-smooth and creamy.
  7. Frost bars.
