Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pinch clove
  • 3 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Cream and mix butter add sugars and eggs . Mix spices into flour and add alternately with milk and oatmeal. You can add raisins, nuts, or whatever to this recipe. Grease cookie sheet and drop cookies. The amount of cookies will be determined by how large a peice of dough you drop. Bake 350 for 10-15 minutes.
