Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In pan heat oil, add onions to brown, set aside.
  2. Combine lentils and 4 c water in a large saucepan, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes add rice, onions in oil, salt and pepper, cover and cook 25-30 minutes.
  3. Serve hot, warm or cold, garnish w/yogurt and herbs.
