Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients together. in a big mixing bowl.
  2. Add eggs and 1 cup of milk to stuffing mixture.
  3. Stir in chicken and water chestnuts.
  4. Saute celery,onion with additional butter, salt,garlic and pepper. When tender add to chicken mixture.
  5. Pour into a 9 X13 greased dish.
  6. Blend can mushroom soup and 1/2 c milk and spread on top.
  7. Add shredded cheddar cheese on top the last 20 minutes - so it will not get over cooked
  8. Bake at 350 for 45-55 minutes.
