Greta's Fried Fish With Curry Sauce - Passover

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 kg minced fish
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp matzo meal
  • 2 eggs and 1 egg
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp seafood , spice
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp apricot jam
  • 2 tbsp curry powder

Directions:

  1. To make the sauce:.
  2. Dissolve the curry powder in the water.
  3. Add all other ingredients and bring to the boil for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. To make the fried fish:.
  5. Mince fish, carrots and onion.
  6. Add all other ingredients.
  7. Shape into balls and dip into additional matzo meal.
  8. Fry the fish until golden.
  9. Place fried fish in serving dish and pour over the sauce.
  10. Refrigerate until serving.
  11. Serve at room temperature or cold.
