Grandma Lulu's Baked Spaghetti Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 (14 oz) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions:

  1. Brown ground cuhck.
  2. Add tomatoes, with juice.
  3. Simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Add sugar (you may want to add it gradually, tasting as you go; the whole 1/4 cup makes it pretty sweet).
  5. Cook spaghetti according to directions.
  6. Strain and immerse in cold water; strain again.
  7. Put spaghetti in 2 quart casserole or 9x13 pan.
  8. Pour meat mixture over spaghetti. DO NOT stir.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 45 minutes, or until hot.
