Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • dash of ground cloves
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In another bowl whisk molasses, oil, buttermilk, and egg until blended
  3. Pour liquid into flour mixture and stir until mixed
  4. Grease griddle and heat to medium low.
