Ingredients:

  • this is how it was sent to us
  • 850 g saurkraut (about 4 cups)
  • 60 g butter (1/4 cup)
  • 5 g sugar (1 tsp)

Directions:

  1. At first you have to loosen the saurkerut. Then you put the saurkraut in more than a pint of boiling water. Don't forget to flavor it and put some fat in. (sugar, butter, salt) Then close pot and stew it.
  2. After that, you have to rub the crude potato in. (grate raw potato).
  3. Now the saurkraut must cook about 20 minutes.
