Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. If using whole garlic cloves ,place in mortar dish or on cutting board and sprinkle with salt. Mash with pestle or the flat side of a knife to form a paste. (if using minced or chopped garlic I skip this step (except adding salt) I like the chunks of garlic in mine).
  2. Transfer to medium bowl and stir in olive oil, vinegar and mustard.
  3. Add broccoli and stir to coat.
  4. Chill for 3 hours to marinate, stirring occasionally.
  5. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese before serving.
  6. **Have also used half mashed cloves and half chopped cloves of garlic.
