Fresh Peach Brown Sugar Pie

Ingredients:

  • 2 (9 inch) pie crusts (see classic pie crust
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Stir dry ingredients together.
  3. Sprinkle peaches with lemon juice and almond extract.
  4. Add dry ingredients and toss gently to mix.
  5. Dump into pastry lined 9 pie pan, dot with butter and add top crust.
  6. Cut vent holes.
  7. Bake until bubbles and crust is browned.
  8. About 35-45 minutes.
