French Toast Bread Pudding With Spiced Tapioca Gla...

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Grease a 9-inch square glass pan
  3. Cut bread into 1/2 to 1 inch cubes
  4. Combine eggs, milk, sugar,allspice, vanilla and salt in a large mixing bowl
  5. Whisk until well blended
  6. Gently stir in walnuts, raisins and chopped fruit
  7. Fold in bread cubes until most of the liquid has been absorbed
  8. Spoon into prepared pan
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until top is browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
  10. To serve, cut warm bread pudding into squares and drizzle with Spiced Tapioca Glaze
  11. NOTE: To make glaze, whisk together 1 cup tapioca pudding (homemade, from a mix or purchased), 2 cups heavy cream and 1 teaspoon ground allspice.
