Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp shortening
  • 1/2-3/4 cup warm water

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients well.
  2. Add shortening and mix until it resembles cornmeal.
  3. Add warm water and mix until dough can be gathered into a ball.
  4. Divide into 12 balls.
  5. Flour surface lightly.
  6. Roll out into thin rounds.
  7. Cook in ungreased skillet until lightly brown.
