Ingredients:

  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1/2 cup ground pecans
  • 5 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 8 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flax seed oil
  • 4 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Grind oats.
  2. Grind pecans.
  3. Sift together all dry ingredients.
  4. Beat eggs, buttermilk and vanilla then add melted butter & oil.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to just moistened.
  6. Let mixture set for 15 minutes.
  7. Bake in waffle iron.
