Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 375 F
  2. Coat a large baking dish *lasagna-type with non-stick,calorie free cooking spray.
  3. Place the apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, cloves, 1 1/2 tbls of Splenda Brown Sugar and 1 tbls of flour in a dish and gently mix to coat fruit *it will be a light coat but it gets results.
  4. Place the apple mixture in your prepared dish.
  5. Combine the remaining Splenda Brown Sugar and flour in a bowl, add cold butter and quickly cut together * I prefer using a fork some use 2 knives. You want it to resemble coarse crumbs.Sprinkle this mix atop the apples.
  6. Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes
  7. Serve hot or room temperature
  8. Sometimes I find the fruit not fully cooked soft and occasionally starting to dry.My husband found just out of the oven HOT, covering with foil set aside on the counter *DO NOT FORGET THE HOT PADS or CUTTING BOARD usually 2 hours by the time dinner is through and you are ready for dessert it is ready for you.
  9. The steam finishes it PERFECT.
  10. I also add an extra 1 tbls spoon of Splenda Brown Sugar because I like it sweeter, before baking sprinkle over the mixture .
