  1. Grate the cabbage, bell pepper and onion.
  2. Bring to a boil the sugar, vinegar, turmeric, mustard seeds and salt.
  3. Pour over the cabbage mixture.
  4. Chill overnight.
  5. Lasts for weeks in the refrigerator.
