Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup diced ham

Directions:

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in large pan over high heat
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 30 minutes
  3. Transfer half of mixture to blender and blend for 20 seconds
  4. Pour back in pan, add flour and whisk together
  5. Then, add cream and ham and simmer for 15 minutes to thicken
