Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Soak your cod overnight, and the beans.
  2. The next day place beans in a pot with water and cook till beans are tender, season water with salt, when cooked set aside.
  3. In a frying-pan pour the olive oil and chopped onions and garlic, let simmer till onions are transparent then add in parsley,add 2 cups of broth where the beans have bean cooking.
  4. Once it starts boiling add in your cod, and let it cook, when cooked remove from pan and let cod cool. Once cooled remove skin and fishbones, and shred cod with your hands (not to finely just enough to separate into chunks)
  5. Place back into the pan where the cod was cooked and set aside.
  6. Remove 1/2 of the beans from the broth and mash them well or puree them.
  7. Now add in your spinish to pot where the remain beans are bring to a boil,.
  8. Just till spinish is cooked. add in the cod fish mixture and the puree bean to soup.
  9. Slice bread into slices and place around soup bowl, pour soup into bowl and sprinkle fresh ciliantro over soup serve hot.
