Directions:

  2. Add the remaining ingredients except salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove bay leaf.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve hot.
