Chocolate Brownie Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar , plus
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half cream or 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup brown sugar , plus
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 2/3 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Set oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add in cream, oil, vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Stir in nuts.
  6. Pour the mixture into prepared baking pan.
  7. In a small bowl mix together brown sugar, 6 tablespoons cocoa and hot water.
  8. Pour over the batter in the pan (do not mix).
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  10. Serve in single dessert bowls topped with ice cream.
