Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 3/4 cups hot water

Directions:

  1. Place dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Stir in nuts.
  5. Pour into greased 2.5 liter baking dish.
  6. Combine brown sugar and cocoa.
  7. Sprinkle over batter.
  8. Pour hot water gently over entire batter.
  9. Bake 350 for 45 minute.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
