Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare potatoes
  2. In skillet, heat drippings oil or Crisco
  3. Add potatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper
  4. Cover and fry over medium heat, turning occasionally, until almost tender and lightly browned
  5. Remove lid, and sprinkle with chili powder
  6. Add the chopped onion
  7. Increase heat, and finish cooking, turning as needed, until potatoes are nice and brown
  8. Drain on paper towels
