Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the butter and flour as in pastry
  2. Add chopped pecans to this mixture
  3. Press the above in a 9 X 13 dish or pan
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-30 minutes until lightly browned
  5. Let cool
  6. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, slowly
  7. Fold in whipped cream or (okay, Cool Whip)
  8. Spread on top of cooled crust
  9. At this time you may spread the cherry pie filling over all OR
  10. You may refrigerate and *spread when ready to serve*
  11. *NOTE: When I use *fresh* strawberries, peaches, blueberries, etc.
  12. I cut the dessert into squares and drizzle the sweetened fruit over the square. For a strawberry, peach melba , I drizzle the square with sweetened strawberries, then drizzle peaches over the strawberries! Now this is good, good!
