Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Directions:

  1. Combine water surar and yeast in large bowl, let sit untill bubbly. Add salt and butter to water mixture and mix well. Gradually add flour 1 cup at a time untill soft dough forms. Knead for 5 min. in mixing bowl. Cover and let rise untill double. Punch down and form bread sticks about 1x8 inches, place on greesed cookie sheet and let rise again. Bake at 400 for about 12 to 15 minutes or untill golder brown. While still warm brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt if desired.
