Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 F. Butter a glass casserole dish.
  2. Spread each slice of toast with butter and orange marmalade , making sure to use all of the marmalade. ...dont be skimpy now lol
  3. Cut the toasts into 1-inch cubes and place in prepared casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips. .......easy so far ..huh!!!
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, lemon juice, cinnamon , and nutmeg just until combined.
  6. Pour evenly over the bread cubes.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, until egg mixture is set.
  8. Serve warm with heavy cream poured on top... or better yet!!

  12. Heres a bonus sauce its a maple sauce to use on bread puddings
  13. Yummm...............
  14. MAPLE SAUCE
  15. 1 tb Cornstarch
  16. 1/4 ts Finely shredded orange peel
  17. 3/4 c Orange juice
  18. 1/3 c Maple syrup
  19. 2 tb Margarine or butter
  20. In a small saucepan combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel. Stir in 3/4 cup orange juice and 1/3 cup maple Syrup.
  21. Cook and stir the maple syrup mixture till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
  22. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 2 teaspoons margarine or butter.
  23. Serve sauce warm over orange bread pudding.
  24. Makes 1 cup
