Ingredients:

  • 12 bacon

Directions:

  1. Cut each bacon strip into thirds.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon in batches over medium heat until partially cooked but not crisp.
  3. Remove to paper towels to drain; keep warm.
  4. Carefully cut a slit in the center of each date; fill with blue cheese.
  5. Wrap a bacon piece around each stuffed date; secure with wooden toothpicks.
  6. Place on ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375° for 10-12 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
  8. Yield: 3 dozen.
