Ingredients:

  • water reserved from cooking the beans
  • 1/2 cup molasses or dark syrup
  • 1/4 cup catsup (optional)
  • salt & pepper , to taste
  • 2 slices of bacon or salt pork (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350º.
  2. Combine all ingredients in greased casserole.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
  4. Serve.
