Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Mix in a bowl salt, flour, white sugar and baking powder.
  2. Then cut in 1/4 cup cold butter.
  3. Then take milk and egg and beat together and add to dry ingredients. Don't mix to much or biscuits will be tough.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangular shape. Spread with softened butter, spread another layer of brown sugar and then sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll and cut into 3/4 inch segments.
  5. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
