Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 tbsp sour cream

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and bananas.
  2. Mix in vanilla and soda, beating in well. Add flour till mixture is well combined but not overmixed.
  3. Add sour cream. This ingredient is absolutely crucial for the moist consistency of this bread.
  4. Bake at 300 degrees for about an hour or until skewer comes out clean.
