Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla or 1 tsp lemon extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Directions:

  1. Cream butter.
  2. Add sugar gradually.
  3. Add eggs and beat thoroughly.
  4. Add bananas and flavoring.
  5. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk.
  6. Add nuts.
  7. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 for 20-30 minutes.
