Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp of shortning or butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 2 tbsp sour milk
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Beat together shortning, sugar, bananas,eggs & sour milk
  2. In separate bowl combine dry ingredients
  3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir just enough to blend
  4. Pour into greased bread pan
  5. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour .
