Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Grease a loaf pan.
  3. Beat the eggs,gradually adding in the sugar.
  4. Add the melted shortening.
  5. Sift together the flour,salt,baking powder& soda.
  6. Add to the egg/sugar mixture,alternatly with milk.
  7. Add the chopped nuts,blending only enough to dampen the flour.
  8. Pour mixture into the loaf pan.
  9. Bake appox 45 minutes,or until bread slightly shrinks from the sides of pan.
