  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  2. Sift the first seven ingredients into a large bowl. (Add the cornflakes because you can't sieve them!!). Mix well.
  3. Then in a microwave jug melt the butter (takes about 30 seconds). Into the melted butter add the chopped dates, golden syrup, mashed bananas, milk and water, essences and eggs. Mix well and then pour into the dry ingredients.
  4. Spoon mixture into silicon cupcake cases and sprinkle with nuts. Cook for 15mins.
