Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  2. Grease a 20cm round springform tin.
  3. Cream butter and sugar and slowly add the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add the bananas.
  5. Dissolve soda in milk and mix into the mixture.
  6. Fold in flour with a metal spoon.
  7. Cook for about 70 minutes or until the cake springs back when tapped gently.
  8. Leave in tin for 10 minutes then turn out.
  9. To make the icing: Cream the butter and then add the icing sugar; add the lemon to taste (I often use more as I like it really lemony!).
