Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup sour milk (add lemon juice to milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

  1. Make 1/2 cub of sour milk by adding a little lemon juice to a little less than 1/2 cup of milk. Add baking soda to sour milk, stir it in and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and sour milk. Squash the bananas with your hands as you add them next.
  3. Combine salt, flour, baking powder and nuts (if you use them) and add to above. Mix well. Pour into 2 small greased laof pans. Bake 40 minutes at 350° or until brown.
