Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, mix all ingredients until well blended. Bake in greased bread pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes until dark brown on top. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool on wire rack for an hour place in bread bag to get the that nice bakery texture on the crust.
