Auntie Jill's Soy-Free Vegan Brownies - and They're Good!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 cups walnut pieces

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl (walnuts added later).
  2. Mix wet ingredients together.
  3. Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix together - approximately 50 strokes. Fold in walnuts.
  4. Spread mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes, or until a knife/toothpick can be inserted and comes out clean.
