Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • optional
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions:

  1. Measure Oats into 13x9x2 ungreased baking pan and warm in oven at 350 for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix 2nd group of ingredients into oats.
  3. Pour blended liquid mixture over other ingredients.
  4. Bake in oven at 350 for 20-25 minutes, stirring about every 5-7 minutes to brown evenly.
  5. Stir often during cooling process to crumble.
  6. Makes about 8 cups.
  7. (Raisins may be added after cooling.)
  8. Serve as a breakfast cereal with cold milk, as a snack, or as topping for ice cream.
