Aunt Itsy's Bean Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 (15 oz) can campbell's pork and beans
  • 1/8 cup water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Mix dry ingredients.
  3. Add eggs and oil.
  4. Place pork n beans and water in food processor or blender and process until smooth.
  5. Add to above ingredients.
  6. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  7. Bake in a greased bread loaf pan for 1 hour. (toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean).
