Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp clove
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 1/2 tsp lemon extract
  • 2 eggs

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Add oil, 1/4 cup of milk and extracts. Beat 2 minutes.
  3. Add rest of milk and eggs; beat 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart ring mold.
  5. Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
