Ingredients:

  • 1 medium white onion
  • 1/2 garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp salt (if broth is free)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 dashes saffron (it's more for color) (optional)
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro (optional)
  • 1 cup peas (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a blender, add all ingridence except for Rice and peas. Blend.
  2. In a small pot, bring mixture to a boil.
  3. Add Rice.
  4. Add Peas.
  5. Simmer on low for 15 minutes.
  6. Do not Stir! This will make it mushy.
