World Championship Chili Cook Off Winning Chili

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In Dutch oven, brown half the meat and pour off fat
  2. Remove meat
  3. Brown remaining meat and pour off all fat except 2 tbls.
  4. Add onion and garlic and cook and stir until tender
  5. Add meat and remaining ingredients except flour, cornmeal and warm water
  6. Mix well
  7. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered 2 hours
  8. Stir together flour and cornmeal, then add warm water and mix well
  9. Stir into chili mixture
  10. Cook covered another 20 minutes
