Turkey & Couscous Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Wash 2 bell peppers, and cut tops off.
  2. Clean out seeds, and set aside.
  3. Brown ground turkey in a medium sized saucepan.
  4. Add onion, mushroom& garlic, and cook until tender.
  5. Drain.
  6. Add tomato sauce, salt, red pepper& uncooked couscous.
  7. Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
  8. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the bottom of a slow cooker.
  9. Stuff peppers with the mixture, and set peppers upright in the slow cooker.
  10. Set slow cooker to 4-6 hours.
  11. Very easy, tasty, and not too high in fat& calories.
