Sweet Milk Griddle Cakes (Pre-1940's)

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (you can use up to 2 cups)
  • 2 tbsp fat, melted

Directions:

  1. Combine all dry ingredients and sift.
  2. Beat eggs, milk and melted fat together.
  3. Add dry ingredients and beat throughly.
  4. Place batter in a pitcher.
  5. Pour on a hot greased griddle.
