Sweet Milk Griddle Cakes (Pre-1940's)

This Pre-1940's recipe included in my “Grandma’s Wartime Edition Cookbook”
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk (you can use up to 2 cups)
2 tablespoons fat, melted
Directions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients and sift.
2. Beat eggs, milk and melted fat together.
3. Add dry ingredients and beat throughly.
4. Place batter in a pitcher.
5. Pour on a hot greased griddle.
