Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar together in a large bowl.
  2. Add eggs, butter, milk, nutmeg and nuts (if using) to the flour mixture.
  3. Spoon into a greased muffin tin, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Bake at 425 degrees fahrenheit for 15 to 20 minutes.
