Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp orange juice
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat egg white and orange juice until frothy. Add nuts; stir gently to coat. Combine the remaining ingredients. Add to nut mixture and stir gently to coat.
  2. Spread onto a greased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 3 cups.
