Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • lemon juice (amount depends on how much tart you want)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together and spread onto cake.
  2. Place whole apple on top for looks.
