Strawberry Nut Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 - 10 oz package of frozen sliced strawberries
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cuos all purpose flour
  • 1 tblsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Directions:

  1. Defrost strawberries,Beat eggs inn a bowl until fluffy;add cooking oil.
  2. Sugar and strawberries.
  3. Sift together flour ,cinnamon,soda and salt into a mixing bowl;add strawberry mixture and mix until well blended.Stir in nuts.
  4. Pour into 2 greased and floured 91/2 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans,Bake 350
  5. For 1hr 10 min or until done,then turn out of pans and cool on racks.
  6. Makes 2 loaves
  7. This bread slices best when chilled,AS I have said it can be warmed and served with butter(REAL BUTTER)or sliced thin and spread with whipped cream cheese and served with fruit salad .
