Stir Fried Chicken and Broccoli

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. TO PREPARE AHEAD:.
  2. Slice chicken across the grain into pieces 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Toss chicken and marinade in a bowl.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Let stand 30 minutes.
  6. Wash and drain broccoli and cut into bite size pieces.
  7. Mix ingredients for thickening sauce in a small bowl.
  8. TO COOK: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in wok or frying pan over high heat.
  9. Add broccoli and salt and stir fry for 4 minutes.
  10. (Add a teaspoon of water if it gets too dry.) Transfer to a plate.
  11. Wipe out the wok or pan with a paper towel.
  12. Pour in 3 tablespoons oil.
  13. When hot add chicken, garlic and green onions.
  14. Stir fry until chicken is cooked firm and white, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  15. Return broccoli to wok and add thickening sauce.
  16. Stir until thick.
  17. Serve with rice.
