Ingredients:

  • 2 cups walnut halves
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 pinch salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Whip egg white in large bowl until frothy.
  3. Toss walnuts in and coat thoroughly.
  4. Combine sugar ad spices and sprinkle over walnuts, coating evenly.
  5. Spread walnuts onto cookie sheet, in 1 layer and roast in oven until toasted, about 10 minutes.
  6. Remove and cool.
  7. Store in airtight container.
